Is this expense tracker really free with no login?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no login and no app to download. You can start adding expenses immediately and everything is 100% free.

Where is my expense data stored?

Your data is saved only in your own browser using localStorage. It never leaves your device and is never sent to any server, so it stays completely private.

Will I lose my data if I close the browser?

No. Expenses are saved in your browser and will still be there when you return on the same device and browser. Clearing your browser data or using the Clear All button will remove them, so export a CSV backup regularly.

Can I export my expenses?

Yes. Use the Download CSV button to export all your expenses to a spreadsheet that opens in Excel or Google Sheets, which also serves as a backup.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The tracker works in any mobile browser with no installation. Add it to your home screen for one-tap access, and log expenses on the go.
